I grew up in The Netherlands and landed in the United States many moons ago for an internship.
Since then I’ve lived and worked in 7 different cities between the US and Europe and today, I call Orlando home.
I also stand 6’4 tall, which has resulted in a unique experience as I move through life. A few years ago I fulfilled my wish to bring more resources to women that are taller than average height by launching The Tall Society, a community for Tall Girls & Women worldwide.
Currently
I have since continued to create for the Tall Community and launched The Tall Exchange in 2020, an online marketplace where tall people can buy and sell pre-loved and new clothing, shoes and accessories.
I have worked in hospitality for 15+ years and when Covid-19 delivered the knockout punch to my beloved Hospitality industry, I decided to take a step back and reassess what I value most in life and how I can work towards living my very best life.
Living your best life...
What does this mean you might wonder? For me ‘Living my best life’ means having total control of my time, it means not being location dependent and being financially free. Bold! I know.
I am on a mission to reach F.I.R.E (Financial Independence Retire Early) and I intend to document my leanings right here in the hopes it will help you in your journey.

Brunn or Brunnie
My lifelong friends and my family do NOT call me Bree. The minute I land at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, I am Brunn again. Bree really came into play when I first moved to the USA and folks sadly started butchering my legal name.. So for my inner circle. I really am just Brunn or Brunnie.

Tante
The Dutch word for Auntie. This is a title I cherish and carry proudly. I have 2 beautiful nieces from each of my 2 brothers and these little ladies are always at the very top of my priority list. As one of the key female influences in their lives, I am doing my part to ensure they grow up to be strong and powerful women.
